WIP Wednesday, 26 October 2016
The last Wednesday in October! How did THAT happen? It's been a good week for crafting, so here's what's happened.
Retirement Means has gone from here
to here.
The fabric colour is still not right - the description on the bag says "28 count Jazlyn, deep teal green, DMC equivalent 501" so you can check what it should look like. It's from Silkweavers.
And the rug has gone from here
to here.
Finally took a picture with it right side up. I'm pleased with my progress, but I'm going to have to hustle with the rug.
Have my supervisors/inspectors left me alone? Not a hope. This time it was the softness test
and it must have passed because Snowy is sound asleep.

Wonderful progress on both projects.
It's sometimes strange how the fabric colours appear on the pictures.
Great progress on both! Lovely and colorful!
The rug looks fabulous, it must be hard to make progress on it with your assistant taking a nap on it! Such bright colours in this stitching project.
Fantastic progress on your stitching and the rug. Such a beautiful cat, making sure the softness level is just right for you.
Nice progress on both, Bea--I can tell your kitty approves :) Such a cute helper!
Nice progress on both projects.
You are doing well! Nice to know the inspectors still approve! "Retirement" looks great, even if it isn't the colour you expected! Keep up the good work!
Hugs, Barbara xx
Oh with Snowy's help you should be done in no time at all!! ;D
Nice progress on both. Good luck with the rug especially, I know how they can be.
Retirement means is looking good! I can never get the color of fabrics to come out correctly either, I don't know why!
Loving that rug! Your friend is going to be so happy to receive that.
Snowy looks like a great inspector and a pretty laid back supervisor!!
You have made lots of progress on both projects.
Great progress on your Retirement piece, the fabric looks so different. I have a setting on my camera for taking photos in low light without a flash which works best in artificial light. You need a steady hand for it but the colours are generally good.
Two bright projects and Snowy looks very comfortable.
You're making good progress on the rug. Glad it passed the inspector's test! I'm looking forward to seeing more the the retirement piece, but it looks good so far.
Great progress on both projects.
