IHSW August 2016

It was IHSW this weekend (and I forgot to post Friday evening - sorry!) and I managed to get a bit done. That's in spite of my helper(??)!

The sweater was here when the weekend started

and the front is now finished!!

Now comes what I call the icky bits, adding the collar and doing the seams.

Santa/elf was here

and is here now.

Not a lot of growth, but every little bit helps, right?

The sweater looks great! So does your stitching. I see the progress. Good luck with both projects.

Great work on your jumper, I love the way you sewed all the threads into the back in the previous post.
Lovely cat helper too.

The front of the sweater is gorgeous :) (I still have to learn how to do that type of motifs) and every stitch done is a stitch closer to finish :)

You are making quite a bit of progress on both pieces. I am still in love with that sweater.

Ahh, what a helpful kitty. Keeping your patterns safe from being used haha. Do you do most of your knitting from a chart? I have only ventured into charts from a basic cable pattern.

I don't know what is cuter: your helper or the sweater. I don't think I can choose. Great progress on the sweater and Santa/elf; they're looking great. :)
