Your finish looks great, such a funny saying, I am sure your friend will love it. Can't speak for her hubby though LOL
Never fear Bea, the year isn't even half over. Your ort jar will be plenty full by the end of the year! Congrats on the new finish I'm sure your friend will love it.
Lovely stitching that saying is so sweet, your Orts are adding up and by years end you will have more, every thead counts.
Don't worry about your small pile, it will get bigger :)
