WIP Wednesday 28 December 2016
24 hours late! Here we are, the last Wednesday of 2016 and I'm late!
I did get in a little craft time this week, which makes me feel so much better. I finally got the repeat pattern in the doll costume sorted out, so my knitting now looks like this.
It doesn't look like it, but I have started the shaping to make the dress top.
Retirement Means has gone from here
to here.
Not a lot of back stitch, but at least the shovel and hose look like what they are.
I'm hoping to get some stitching time this weekend, so we shall see how things go.

Tee hee, you and me both! Better late than never eh!
Well done sorting your pattern repeat!
Just before Christmas I was searching in the dreaded cupboard and discovered some knitting I'd started last year .... there was no pattern .... I was winging it ..... it was going to be a shawl ..... when I rediscovered it there was only a few rows of rib and I thought I'd carry on in horseshoe stitch .... but after just a few rows ..... I was struggling with the pattern repeat and it ended back in the cupboard! Maybe next year ...
Doesn't that backstitch make such a difference! You'll be finished soon. Well done Bea!
Wishing you Health and Happiness in 2017, and lots more crafting!
Hugs, Barbara xx
Both look great. Wow the difference the backstitching is going to make. Hope you can find lots of time soon.
I'm glad you got the knitting sorted! Plus the backstitch looks great.
Like how your cross stitch looks. Great progress.
Happy New Year Bea: The Retirement Means stitch is so sweet.
Love the color of your new project.
Blessings
Catherine
