It's been half a good week. Yesterday I had to go to Terrace (city closest to us, about an hour and a half away) to get my eyes checked, so I missed my knitting group, which means Orin's sweater is still sitting here
waiting for me to start the pattern. On the plus side, my eyes are healthy and I didn't need to change the lenses in my glasses, which makes me doubly happy.
Santa/elf has gone from here
to finished!
I'm going to use the same fabric for the last one of the set, but haven't got a stitch in him yet.

Looking forward to seeing the next Santa started. Poor Orin...maybe his sweater will get worked on next week! Does he know you are making it for him?
YAY for not having to get new glasses... that is something I have been putting off far to long!
Congrats on your latest finish, it looks really sweet.
A finish! Yay! Good work on not needing new glasses. I do need them. I have been putting it off due to money. I need to get them very soon though.
Woohoo! good finish and glad you got a good bill of health from your eye doctor.
Santa elf is adorable
Good news and great stitched finish
I do so love these Leisure Arts Santa/Elves you have been doing - such a shame that the pattern seems so hard to get. hugs, Kaye xxxx
Congrats on your Santa finish! And I'm in awe of your sweater piece. :)
Hooray for not needing new specs! We had our exams recently too and didn't change prescription but my husband needed new safety glasses for work.
