Headed for PEI on the 27th. On the way, we had to stop and see the world's largest lobster in Shediac.
For a small province, New Brunswick has a lot of "world's largest" things to see.
We continued our trek and approached Confederation Bridge.
This is the view from the bridge.
Bummer isn't it? The safety rail is right at window height - truckers are about the only people who can see anything.
There is a rise in the middle of the bridge where it goes over the sea lanes.
Our first glimpses of the island.
We had to go to Green Gables of course - I loved the Anne stories.
The barn.
Green Gables
The front yard.
And where L.M. Montgomery grew up in Cavendish.
Where her home stood.
Then on to Charlottetown.
Confederation Square and war memorial.
And just shots of the island scenery.
Loved the bright colours.
It was a wonderful day and as you can see, I had fabulous weather for my whole visit to NB.
