We're having such lovely weather and my "step" garden is responding. The glads have started

It's such a pleasure to walk out my front door.

Another IHSW Done

It was a pretty good stitching weekend, although it got interrupted by cooking so I could have some quick grab things in the fridge.

A Summer Day

Every year for my birthday my friend Cynthia gives me a container garden to go on my front steps. It's always full of beautiful flowers and this year is no exception. It makes me look like I have green thumbs which is SO far from the truth.

And I came home to this -

Being on the table is totally forbidden (and he knows it), but I guess when the human is away the cats will play. He was NOT a happy camper when I unceremoniously dumped him on the floor (after taking the picture of course).

It's Coming!

What's coming? Why International Hermit and Stitch weekend of course. It's the 3rd weekend of the month and time to curl up and stitch the time away. For some reason I can't copy Hermie to my blog, so go check out Random Ramblings to join in for this month or click on the crab button at the bottom of the page to see what it's all about.

I'm hoping to get some more done on my stocking and maybe even some on the crewel project I've been procrastinating over for months.

A Good Stitchy Weekend

Well, the stitch-a-thon went very well and I got in some good hours.

World Cross Stitch Day

That is today apparently, and one of my Facebook groups is having a Stitch-A-Thon this weekend, so I hope to get some more done on my Stack of Critters Stocking.

This is where I finished at my last stitching session - no new stitches in yet today.

 

We'll see how far I get by the end of the Stitch-A-Thon.

Stitching Helper
