WIP Wednesday 10 February 2016

Progress this week. I had just started a new stitch last week

and this week he has a face.

Sort of. This is another pattern that really needs the backstitching.

And yesterday as I walked out of my apartment building, we had a visitor.

Very laid back - barely blinked as I came out the door and just kept on chewing its cud. Then decided I was boring and looked to see if there was something more interesting to watch.

it's amazing how they are not shy to just walk around.

Wow. That doe is not afraid. Just wait til summer. If you have flowers, or flowering plants outside the apartment, I think they will get chewed down.

Yes the WIP is definitely one that the backstitching will make come alive. You sure made progress though. Love your beautiful deer. We put corn out for them. They are so sweet.

A lovely visitor.
Your santa has a very happy face.

I can see it's a Santa!
We get deer in our back garden sometimes but not as close as that.

Hi Bea,
Thank you for your comment on my blog.
Some of our neighbours have had deer in their gardens but we have never had them, although we have seen them on the nearby Common.
Lovely stitching!
